Today was out street's 1st ever block party 
and judging by the turnout, it won't be our last.
and judging by the turnout, it won't be our last. We had 2 fire trucks come and they enterained the kids and the police did as well. The biggest hit had to be the dunk tank. 
It 
was another smokin' hot day and the tank provided lots of laughs and cooling. In total we had about 80 people turn out. A reporter from the local newspaper came by and even took a group photo which may be used in our community calendar for next year! The reporter climbed to the top of the firetruck ladder to take the shot.

We had a bbq, face painting, and lots of kids activities and games. Truly a fun day!
